Arthur Moya
2nd year DPhil Student
(University of Oxford, United Kingdom)
Arthur Moya is a 2nd year DPhil student whose research focuses on high resolution imaging of metal/metal oxides. He is characterising these nanoparticulate oxides using atomic resolution microscopy and exitwave reconstruction to correlate their structure to their function. He obtained his MSc from the University of the Witwatersrand, where he was synthesising carbon-metal oxide composites.
He has worked with the Microscopy and Microanalysis Unit (MMU), led by Prof. Alexander Ziegler, where he obtained most of his electron microscopy training.
