Dr Konstantin Borisenko

Konstantin's work involves studies of structures of materials using advanced electron microscopy techniques, such as exit wave restoration and diffraction, and theoretical simulations. His special interests are discovering correlations between structures and materials properties and developing novel techniques, for example, exit wave tomography, to study amorphous materials, which range from amorphous phases in phase-change memory materials for information storage, thin film optical coatings to unusually plastic bulk metallic glasses.
